Fiddlefern Country Dancers will resume our regular dance schedule this October. The schedule is shown below. We will be dancing in two locations:
The Harmony Centre, 890 4th Ave East in Owen Sound. Use the entrance off Ninth Street on the north side of the building.
The parish hall at St. George's Anglican church, 1049 4th Ave East in Owen Sound.

We’d love to dance with you again or for the first time if you’ve never been! Doors open at 7pm with an introduction for new dancers, or you could also call it a refresher if you haven't danced for a while. Dancing starts at 7:30pm. We will dance until 10:00pm with lots of time for socializing and relaxing!

If you feel unwell, please skip this dance, and come the next month when you’re back to your vibrant self. Masks are not mandatory, but you are of course free to wear one as you wish. Make sure to bring your own water bottle and your best dancing shoes! Thank you!

Contra dancing is done to live music, with a caller leading you through the dances. Our dances feature musicians and callers from the Grey-Bruce region as well as from Ontario, Quebec, and the USA. No partner needed. Wear soft-soled shoes and comfortable clothing, no fragrances please, and remember to bring a water bottle.

No matter what your age, on your own or with friends or family — come out for an evening of smiles and tremendous fun. No experience needed. All dances are taught and prompted by the caller. Beginners are always welcome to join in the fun!

No fancy footwork is required. If you can walk, feel a beat, know your left from your right, and smile, you can dance!
