With your help, the Community Dance held on June 18th raised $518.36 for the Red Cross Alberta Fires (Fort Mac) Fund. The Red Cross was most appreciative of our generosity. Thanks to all musicians, and callers who donated their time and talents, St. George’s Anglican Church for donating the rental of the hall and to Will Henry, Frank Francalanza and Kate McLaren, who continue to be enthusiastic mentors!

Doors open for evening dances at 7:30pm, with a warm up and orientation at 7:45pm, and then dancing from 8:00 – 11:00 pm. Admission for regular monthly dances at the door is $12/adult, $8/student, $5/children, or $25/family. Soft soled shoes, comfortable clothing, and no fragrances advised. Bring your own water bottle.

All the dance fun happens at St George’s Hall, 1049 4th Ave. E, Owen Sound
Our dances feature live music and calling from the Grey-Bruce region as well as from Ontario, Quebec, and the USA.
No matter what your age, on your own or with friends or family — come out for an evening of smiles and tremendous fun. No experience needed. All dances are taught and prompted by the caller. Beginners are always welcome to join in the fun!
No fancy footwork is required. If you can walk, feel a beat, know your left from your right, and smile, you can dance!
